ACHIEVEMENTS

SHARED BELIEF

Shared Belief joined the Solis/Litt roster after winning on debut at 2 in August. Recognizing his ability, Alex and Jason purchased the son of Candy Ride from breeders Pam and Martin Wygod. Joining Solis/Litt were trainer Jerry Hollendorfer, Jim Rome's Jungle Racing, KMN Racing and George Todaro. Shared Belief closed out 2013 a perfect 3 for 3 and was named Champion Two Year-Old Colt.

At 3, Shared Belief took the G2 Los Alamitos Derby before beating older males in the G1 Pacific Classic and G1 Awesome Again Stakes. He suffered his first loss in the Breeders' Cup Classic after a troubled start, but bounced back quickly to display rare versatility when sprinting home to win the G1 Malibu over 7 furlongs. Shared Belief started his 2015 campaign by defeating 2014 Kentucky Derby winner and Horse of the Year California Chrome in the G2 San Antonio Stakes and went on to win the coveted G1 Santa Anita Handicap.

Over three years, Shared Belief won five G1 races, earned $2,932,200 and gave his connections a trip of a lifetime.

MIZDIRECTION

Mizdirection first came to Solis/Litt in 2008 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale when Jason fell in love with her and she was purchased for a client to race. Fate intervened and she was put through a 2 year-old sale, but Alex loved how she was training and she was purchased again by Solis/Litt.

Mizdirection debuted in March 2011 with a nice second to eventual Grade 1 winner Home Sweet Aspen. Two months later, she broke her maiden by an eye popping 11 1/2 lengths, prompting Jim Rome's Jungle Racing to join the ownership group. Over the next two and half years, Mizdirection became one of the most dominant sprinting grass fillies in the country winning 9 stakes races, including 6 for 6 down the hill at Santa Anita and the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint in 2012 and 2013. She retired with 11 wins from 17 starts and earnings of $1,719,621.

COUNTRY HOUSE

COUNTRY HOUSE

Country House

Country House was bred by the late J.V. “Jerry” Shields Jr. and was cataloged in the Keeneland September Sale before Alex and Jason recommended that the horse be retained to race. When Shields passed away in 2018, Country House went to his wife, Maury Shields, and nephew Guinness McFadden of Blackwood Stables. After Country House broke his maiden impressively at Gulfstream Park in January 2019, Larry, Nanci and Jaime Roth of LNJ Foxwoods bought into the horse off the recommendation of Alex and Jason.

Country House rewarded his new connections immediately, running a strong second in the Grade 2 Risen Star and placing himself on the Kentucky Derby trail. Country House secured his spot in America’s premier race when running third in the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby. Country House became the 145th winner of the Grade 1 Kentucky Derby on May 4, cementing his place in racing history. He currently stands at Darby Dan Farm in Lexington, Kentucky.

COVFEFE

Covfefe, named after a typo by the President on Twitter, was bred by Alexander-Groves Thoroughbreds. She was selected by Alex and Jason at the 2017 Keeneland September Yearling Sale for LNJ Foxwoods. Turned over to trainer Brad Cox, the filly quickly showed her connections the brilliance that was to come.

Covfefe won her debut at Churchill by 9 lengths in September of her 2-year-old season. The performance was the first of many incredible efforts - at 3, Covfefe took the G3 Miss Preakness Stakes by 8, shattering a 29-year-old track record. She came back in August to triumph in the prestigious G1 Test Stakes, besting the Kentucky Oaks winner by half a length after a tremendous stretch duel. The brilliant filly capped her season with an emphatic victory in the G1 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint, becoming only the second 3 year old to win the Championship race. She was honored with Eclipse Awards as Champion 3YO Filly and Champion Female Sprinter in 2019 - the first time a filly has won both in a season.

MAGE

Mage was bred by Grandview Equine and foaled at Runnymede Farm in Kentucky. His story began when Solis/Litt purchased his dam, Puca, on behalf of Grandview in 2018. She was bred to Good Magic in 2019 on the recommendation of Solis/Litt and produced Mage as her second foal in 2020. Mage was sold as a yearling by Grandview before being acquired by his ownership group of OGMA Investments, LLC, Ramiro Restrepo, Sterling Racing LLC and CMNWLTH at a 2YO sale in 2021.

Mage opened his career with an emphatic MSW win at Gulfstream on debut, before stepping up into graded stakes company. A second in the G1 Florida Derby qualified the colt for the Kentucky Derby. With his characteristic grit and determination, Mage charged down the stretch to take the 149th edition of the Run for the Roses by a length.
